This beautiful antique dressing table has been refinished using a variety of high-quality products and paints. It features a moody blend of deep purple, mauve, brown, and black paint. The large bottom drawer features a beautiful floral decoupage paper and a raised lace stencil.  The smaller top drawers embellished with gilded cooper/gold stripes and orginial knobs also kissed with gilded wax. All drawers glide nicely and have been lined with peel and stick floral paper. Several wood appliques have been added and embellished with gilding wax. New glass drop pulls with a light pink hue added to bottom drawer. Sealed in satin polyacyrlic.  The mirror is original (from the early 1900s) and does show appropriate signs of aging, including but not limited to clouding of mirror, black specs, small black streaks, and other minor imperfections.
